宇山 葵 うやまあおい
(箏・三味線演奏・和楽器アレンジ・作曲・編曲・演出家)
神奈川県横浜市出身。
4歳よりピアノ、12歳より箏、15歳より三味線を始める。
国立音楽大学附属小・中学校をピアノ科で卒業。
東京藝術大学附属音楽高等学校、同大学を邦楽科箏曲生田流専攻で卒業。
現在は慶應義塾大学大学院メディアデザイン研究科に在籍し、伝統音楽の更なる発展と存続に向けた活動を行っている。
これまでにはクラッシックやジャズなど様々な楽器との共演や立体音響作品制作、即興演奏、
和楽器を使った作曲・編曲・アレンジ、コンサートの演出を行うなど、活動は多岐に渡る。
2022年、楽天NFTより日本伝統音楽で初のアーティストデビュー。
同年、大日本家庭音楽会にて箏曲楽譜「宇山葵編品集」出版。
2023年始に作曲と演奏を手掛けたCD発売決定。
NHK番組「日本の芸能」「らららクラッシック」に出演。
JML日独青少年交流ドイツ公演に参加。
第64回福井県音楽コンクールにて知事賞（最高位）受賞。
若手の演奏家・作曲・編曲家として活躍中。
生田流箏曲「宮城社」助教。

Uyama Aoi
Koto and Shamisen player
Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa.
Has studied the piano since age four, the koto (Ikuta school) since age twelve, and the jiuta shamisen since age fifteen. Graduated from the Kunitachi College of Music Elementary and Junior High School in the piano department and the music high school attached to the Tokyo University of the Arts.
Currently enrolled in the 4th year of the Department of Traditional Japanese Music in the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts.
Has unique roots in both classical music and traditional Japanese music.

2015 Governor's Award (highest rank) at the Fukui Prefectural Music Competition
2016 Performed in the NHK TV program “Japanese Performing Arts”
2017 Participated in the JML Japan-Germany youth exchange program and performed in Germany and Japan
2019 Performed in the NHK TV program “Lalala Classic”
2021 Produced the stereophonic work with 22.2 speakers, which was the first production using Japanese musical instruments
2021 Manages musical performance venue in Kyoto
Has performed with various classical instruments including piano, violin, cello, flute, and harp.
